To provide an opportunity for the children of the
community to participate in recreational, educational and social
activities which are supervised and offers them a safe and wholesome
environment; to provide an opportunity for children to organize
themselves and learn the importance of leadership and the necessity of
self control; to learn to govern themselves under established rules of
conduct, under adult supervision, which must be followed and enforced; to
learn the importance of becoming a mentor to the younger children with
whom they work and play. |
