This mural, located in Twenty Nine Palms, celebrates the everyday life of the Chemehuvei Indians at the Oasis of Mara.  The Serrano and the Cahuilla Indians used the oasis . The oasis remains as a symbol of the underground waters that nourish 29Palms.
