Welcome to the Friendly
Hills Elementary School GATE Web page. This Web page is about the
desert
miners of the Morongo Basin. For the last 2 months we have
been
researching local history of the Morongo Basin. We have had
JTNP
rangers, local artist Tony Soares and others come to visit our
class.
We also went on many field trips to visit mining sites,
museums
and murals in Twentynine Palms California.
