Our school believes strongly in recognizing positive achievements and efforts.

    Awards Assemblies Schedule:
  • Grades AM-Kndg. and Grades 3-4 @ 9:40 a.m.
  • Grades 5-6 @ 10:15 a.m.
  • Grades PM-Kndg. and Grades 1-2 @ 2:30 p.m.
  • Grades 7-8 (as scheduled by their teachers)

In addition to the recognition your child receives in the classroom, there will be award certificates issued at the end of each month.

You will be sent a letter or receive a phone call, from your child's teacher, if your child is receiving a special award so that you can attend the monthly awards assembly.
These awards are:

  • CITIZENSHIP: Displaying exemplary conduct
  • OUTSTANDING EFFORT: Improvement or effort in class
  • STUDENT OF THE MONTH: High achievement in a subject area
  • WRITING: Notable writing selection

In addition, there are three awards at the end of each quarter:

  • PERFECT ATTENDANCE: No absences, of any kind or unexused tardies for the quarter
  • HONOR ROLL (Grades 4-6): 3.5 average in all core subject areas and no U, N or S-
  • MERIT ROLL (Grades 4-6a): 3.0-3.5 average in all core subject areas and no U, N or S-
