BUS:
- Transportation is provided free of charge, however, it is a privilege that can be revoked if deemed necessary fro the safety of all students.
- A map of the bus stops is available for viewing in the school office.
- The bus schedules are posted in front of the school the week before school begins.
- Bus information is always available in the school office.
- The Morongo Unified School District "School Bus Information and Safety Plan" is available, for public inspection, in the school office.
- Bus Rules
BIKES:
- Racks are provided at school but students must supply their own locks.
- The school is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged bicycles.
- Remember to always wear a safety helmet when riding your bike. Students must wear safety helmets - it is the law! Students will not be allowed to ride their bicycle if they do not have a safety helmet.
- Bike riders must follow the same rules as walkers. Walk your bike when leaving school grounds.
- Bike riders must have written permission to ride a bicycle, from their parent, on file in the school office.
CAR:
- No double parking permitted at any time. Vehicles may be cited.
- No parking in an assigned handicapped parking space unless you have a visible placard. Vehicles may be cited. Please give this courtesy to those who need these spaces.
- If no spaces are available please park safely on the street.
- Grade 7-8 students should not arrive before 7:10 a.m. or remain after 1:40 p.m. unless in an after school program.
- Children in morning kindergarten should not arrive before 8:20 a.m.
- Grades 1 - 6 should not arrive before 9:10 a.m.
- Afternoon kindergartners should not arrive before 11:35 a.m.
- After school, students should be picked up in the fenced kindergarten
yard promptly at 3:30 p.m.

WALKERS:
Students may walk to school if you feel your child is able to handle
the responsibility.
Supervision is not provided before 9:00 a.m.
There is a crossing guard monitoring students crossing Alta Loma from
9-9:25 a.m.
There is no crossing guard for seventh/eight graders or for mid-day arriving or leaving kindergartens
Whatever transportation method you choose, we ask that you keep it the same,
to avoid confusion for your child, teacher and office staff. If you have a
special circumstance that necessitates a change, please send a note with
your child that day. Please always inform the office of any permanent
change in your child's transportation.
