September 1999 has marked our 34th year of service to preschool age children and families of San Bernardino County. Head Start serves children 3-5 years old with preference given to the 4 year old child first. Children living in a defined target area and whose family meet the Federal/State income guidelines are eligible for the program. Call today for an appointment or information. There is no fee.

At the time of your appointment, please bring the following information with you:
  • Verification of Birth
    1. Birth Certificate, or
    2. Baptismal Certificate, or
    3. Medical card, or
    4. Passport
  • Child's immunization record.

  • Verification of income.
    1. Check stub.
    2. Unemployment verification.
    3. TANF recipients please bring Notice of Action.
  • Medi-cal card (if applies)

  • Social security cards of all members in the home.

  • Foster parents or legal guardians must bring proof of guardianship.
